Okay, obviously I need to listen to the rest of the songs on Super Junior’s albums because this is a recurring thing going on— their other songs are usually better than the promoted singles haha. I REALLY like this one and wish I hadn’t put it off for so long… I wish they promoted this instead… The dance would have been really good!
And quite honestly I THINK I know what the song is about, but I don’t want to say in case I’m reading too much into it… haha.
But I am SO relieved there wasn’t a rap in this at all. A rap would have ruined the whole song for me. At the part where they kind break and they do a little of a back track thing… you know what I mean, the part at 2:25? I was afraid it was going to be a rap break, but it WASN’T. I love what they did there, however you describe it.
I wish Super Junior would do more songs like this because Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Sungmin’s voices stood out to me as the ones who really benefited from this song (and they happen to be my favourite voices in Super Junior haha). More songs like this and I could be a bigger fan. I need to get this on my iPod so I can use it for working out…

I’m on episode 8 in God of Study, so I thought I’d make a post about my thoughts so far, whether or not it’s worth your time, the usual haha.

I don’t know why I didn’t listen to this earlier. Probably because with the overwhelming amount of rookie groups coming out in 2012, I didn’t really bother unless they caught my attention haha. To be honest Fiestar doesn’t really grab your attention, but they are really talented and their debut song is super catchy.
Okay, first thing. Linzy is so pretty, I seriously hope she’s the visual in addition to being the lead vocal. Imagine her in 2NE1 (she was under YG and almost as a member of 2NE1)— really! Haha.
Second: I like that they gave Cheska a whole line in English since she IS from the USA. Cao Lu is so pretty and I’m glad they included a Chinese member, makes them a little more interesting.
The song is a very show-time and boosting your mood type of song. Kind of makes me want to dance! Really positive lyrics that aren’t about love too! All the girls are really good at singing, very strong vocals. Yezi’s rap was good and one of the better cuter girl group raps I’ve heard. Overall, I really like it. I wonder when their comeback is going to be…

The performance version (basically the dance version) is really awesome because they’re dancing in jeans or jean shorts. I like the simplicity and emphasizes a natural beauty aura. The dance is really great, looks like a good workout, and I don’t mind that one member is always hidden because it’s a nice format that keep the focus on one member at a time.
The music video follows Fiestar while they prepare for an audition on Xiah Junsu’s show. That’s right. JUNSU. *fans self* In the waiting room is Wonder Woman, Hell Boy, Robin, Darth Vader, and The Joker. I laughed when I saw Hellboy haha. The girls poofing from one place to the other reminded me of Infinite’s ‘Come Back’ music video haha. There’s one girl who flies around on a jetpack and had big glasses with overwhelming aegyo and the sound effects in the beginning that got on my nerves after the first time I watched the video… But it was a cute video that had Junsu yay!

Wow I’m really sorry guys about being so behind on everything.
I’ve been working on updating my personal and fitblr and then it’s almost the end of the year so lots of finals and studying just wow. Ugh.
Plus trying to get in the know for American and British shows again, so kdramas were pushed back a little. And these past two drama seasons haven’t really grabbed me well… So yeah.
Andddd I haven’t read many books this year and want to during summer where I have more time, so I’m making a list of books to read.
I promise I’ll put out more reviews but I’ve been behind on the kpop news so I need to catch up haha. Summer’s almost here so I’ll have more time for watching kdramas and kmovies.
Request request request otherwise I don’t know what to review for you!
Later!

After ‘Appetizer’, I was really unsure of how ‘Joah’ would be like. I can’t tell you how surprised I was to hear this really laid-back sweet song!
I didn’t post ‘Appetizer’ because it was all in English except for one verse… but that was a hardcore rap song. ’Joah’ contrasts his harsher concepts and really shows off his versatility. Some people are bothered by the 180 turn, but I don’t mind it. I don’t really follow Jay Park, but I like him as a person and I like that he’s able to do whatever style he likes and his ability to pull it off well. Maybe not one of my favourites ever, but I wouldn’t mind listening to it every so often for a feel-good song. I seriously believe that he could do well in the States if he tried because of his music styles and his fluency in English.
I really like the music video because it’s set in Seattle! I used to live there when I was younger and loved it, so it’s nice to see some of Seattle in a music video. The music video is as simple as the song— Jay Park just being really happy with Clara Lee as they walk around and hang out in Seattle with some solo shots of Jay Park happily spinning around in alleys. Did anyone else notice how huge those dogs were in the beginning though?! Just a simple love song with a sweet video… I’m interested in what Jay Park will come up with next haha.

Sorry for not updating for a while, guys! I’ve been setting up my personal blog and kind of neglected this one :P Plus I’ve been watching The Walking Dead, Hannibal, and Being Human, so no kdramas or kmovies lately… And school doesn’t want me to have free time :P
I’m getting updated on everything and will make some posts for you guys real soon! :D
You guises are too sweet :’) Thank you for following!

Friday I’m watching TTBY with my friend who got her wisdom teeth done. Crying over emotions instead of physical pain yay okay well probably just me because I cry over everything so yeah that will be fun :)
And I’ve finally realised how behind I am in American pop culture. It’s a little annoying tbh but I’m just not interested in a lot of stuff going on lately. But I’ve decided after recent events in school, I’ll watch The Walking Dead :) My bestie is watching it too while waiting for more Boyfriend Hello Baby English subs (she has spring break right now lucky new jersey kids), so we can discuss haha
So I’ll take a break from kdramas long enough to get in the know with everyone else haha and it’s not like it sounds like a dumb show either, it does actually sound interesting and I’ve been meaning to watch it for a REALLY long time, just no motivation, and whenever I could have I forgot and Boyfriend said they watch it too and they have really good taste in movies or at least minwoo does
I’m still waiting for Sherlock season 3… And mustering the courage to watch Downtown Abbey season 3 since I already know what happens… and thinking about Supernatural, but that looks like a lot of commitment xD So The Walking Dead is my catching-up-with-the-times show xD
So. TTBY on Friday, The Walking Dead on Saturday. I’ll set up a queue on Sunday :)

I’ve been reviewing a lot of songs off the ‘Sorry Sorry’ album lately haha. Anyway, this song is only found on the repackaged version C, so I don’t think it’s well known, which is a shame because Ryeowook and Sungmin wrote the lyrics and Ryeowook did the music. I really like it when members of a group participate in the making of a song because it makes them true artists in my eyes.
It’s a pretty song, where it’s too upbeat to be a ballad but too slow to be really pop. I think it’s underrated for a Super Junior song. Super Junior really does come out with good material, it’s just they don’t promote it well. Instead of just the few people who actually bought the third repackaged album, it could be all the ELFs and regular fans who hear it. But whatever, the song is pretty, the lyrics are bittersweet, and I like that they used the right people to sing each solo line in it, especially that Ryeowook got more lines since it’s basically his song.

First, I had no idea Ku Hye Sun was a singer on top of being an actress best known for her role as Geum Jandi in Boys Over Flowers. Second, I had no idea she did lots of other things like writing and directing? Third, I had no idea she was under YG Entertainment. They should promote her more because this video only has like, 300,000 views, not to mention a boring music video.
Ku Hye Sun is an extremely pretty person. I just can’t help but think about how awkward it was for her to film this video, although I’m sure you could think of it being like a photo shoot. Still, it’s a little awkward to watch. Not to mention, with a song called ‘Marry Me’, there’s ought to be something you can do for a music video plot? It just felt like YG was being a little lazy with Hye Sun who had a lot of potential with the song.
Music video aside, it’s a pretty song. Since I didn’t know she was a singer, I didn’t know what to expect, but what I got was a cute coffee shop/hair salon/springtime song. It really fits her image she shows in the music video and I think even her personality. Her English in it is really good too, so that’s a big bonus. Hopefully she does more in the singing department because I’d be interested in that!
